DO WE DESERVE DEMOCRACY

We ,Indians, got freedom with great difficulty and sacrifice by our great leaders like Mahathma Gandhi and others. It seems we do not chersih their memory.The politicians who run the country on their names only pay lip serice to their great memory.See the Indian Parliament. We send these MPs to the Parliament to govern this country. what they do in Parliament. Most of them do not attend .If they attend ,they disrupt the proceedings.They do not legislate.There is not much discussion on any bill. They just follow the party's whip and vote.The anti defection will has killed the spirit of democracy.Now every MP has just to vote like a machine. He can not vote as per his por her conscoience.Remem,ber Indira Gandhi's conscience vote which made VV Giri, the president.There was no anti defection act in those days. The first thing we should do is remove the anti defection bill from our statute.Thgere is no anti defection law in Great Britain,the mother of all democracies. Think over.
